Will the QR codes I make here expire?
+No. Enqodo makes static QR codes – the data lives inside the code itself, so there's nothing on a server to switch off or renew, and it keeps working for good. Many so-called free generators quietly make your code dynamic (routed through their server) so it can be shut off later unless you pay. We don't.

+Yes – creating and downloading static QR codes is free, with no watermark, no ads and no account, and it always will be.

Will the QR code stop working if I change my WiFi password?
+Yes – the code stores your network name and password, so after a password change it no longer connects. Make a new code and reprint it; that's free and takes under a minute.

Does scanning a WiFi QR code need an internet connection?
+No. The network details live inside the code itself, so phones can read it and join your WiFi without any mobile data – handy in basements, hotels or venues with weak signal.

My router says WPA2 or WPA3 – which security do I pick?
+Pick WPA. Phones treat it as the whole WPA family, including WPA2 and WPA3 Personal networks. WEP is only for routers from before roughly 2007.

Does it work with hidden networks?
+Yes – tick "Hidden network" under advanced options, so phones know to search for a network that doesn't broadcast its name.

Do WiFi QR codes work on iPhone and Android?
+Yes – both connect straight from the built-in camera app. On very old Android versions guests may need the QR scanner in quick settings instead.

What's the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
+A static code stores its data inside the code – fixed, free and impossible to switch off. A dynamic code stores a link on a server and redirects, so it can be edited and tracked, but it depends on that service staying on. Enqodo makes static codes.

Can I make a dynamic QR code I can edit after printing?
+Not yet – Enqodo makes static codes, which are fixed once created (that's exactly why they can't be switched off). Editable dynamic codes are something we plan to add in the future.

Can I track how many times my QR code is scanned?
+Not yet. A static code points straight at your link without routing through our servers, so there's nothing for us to count – which is also good for your privacy. We're working on scan analytics for a future update.

+Static codes are built right in your browser: your data is encoded into the image and never sent to or stored on our servers. Nothing to leak, nothing to track.
